A week or so ago I ordered a new camera. I have a digital Rebel XT, but wanted one I could just throw in the diaper bag and not have to steal my mom's camera that we got her for Christmas. I ordered a Canon PowerShot SD800 IS . The "IS" stands for "image stabilizing, a feature that I'm convinced I need when I'm trying to take a picture with one hand while holding Claire or Delaney in the other arm...now if someone would only make a camera that would prevent the small child from grabbing at the camera or, better yet, hold the child!
Yesterday, I decided to take advantage of Verizon's sale and upgrade my old cellphone to one that will actually hold a charge for more than 5 minutes. Since I thought I might also use this opportunity to learn to text message, I got a Samsung SCH u-740 because it has a QWERTY keyboard. It's petty, but trying to type using a standard keypad is the equivalent of nails on a chalkboard. I really just want to be a cool mom and not be left behind by technology. Anyway, Verizon promised overnight delivery so it should also be here today.
Kevin's napping and Claire and Delaney are due for a nap at 2:30 so if FedEx or UPS shows up in the next half hour, I'm going to have tech playtime. Wheeee!
